In attendance at at Country Music Awards Party, Willie Nelson shows off a Purple Heart, given to him that evening by a fan, in honor of winning his war with the IRS. Willie was proud and defiant, telling Bill to ‘take my picture.’ 

Willie was inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame that evening too. 

This print was developed from a film photograph taken by legendary photographer Bill Thorup and printed in Nashville, TN. The print measures 11" x 14" and is personally hand-signed by him.
